Year 6 Open Evening: Thursday 24th September 2026 | 4.30pm to 6.30pm

We are delighted to invite Year 6 pupils and their families to attend our Open Evening and discover all that St Anthony's Girls' Catholic Academy has to offer.

During the evening you will be able to:

  • Explore our school and visit all curriculum departments, each showcasing their subjects and learning opportunities.
  • Attend a short presentation from senior leaders, providing information about life at St Anthony's and the transition to secondary school. Presentations will take place at 4.45pm and 5.30pm, each lasting approximately 20 minutes.
  • Meet representatives from the Local Authority Admissions Team, who will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on the application process.
  • Enjoy complimentary hot food samples from our catering team.
  • Speak to our Pupil Ambassadors, who will be available throughout the evening to offer tours, answer questions and help guide visitors around the school.

Visitor Information

  • Year 6 pupils are warmly encouraged to attend.
  • To help manage visitor numbers, we kindly ask that a maximum of two adults attend per child where possible.
  • Younger siblings are welcome if alternative childcare arrangements are not available.
  • Doors will open at 4.30pm and remain open throughout the event. Visitors may arrive at any time between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, although we recommend planning your visit around one of the presentation times.

All members of staff aim to provide a high quality learning environment and are happy to support students with any issues that may arise.

You will have the opportunity to participate in a range of extra-curricular clubs and activities at St. Anthony’s, and you will be encouraged to make valuable contributions to all areas of school life. As a student you will also have the opportunity to visit many local, national and international places of interest for your studies or extra-curricular activities. We also encourage students to take part in various charity events to support a range of charitable organisations.

All students at St. Anthony’s will be encouraged to achieve their potential and we will support you in all of your studies. Your commitment to your academic work, and other areas of school life, is also important to ensure you achieve your very best.
